Capture now. Synchronize when the connection returns.

Plan for event-floor connectivity without losing the context of the conversation.

Event-floor connectivity can be unreliable. A crowded venue may make it harder to upload data at the exact moment a conversation happens. Your workflow should make room for that situation without making synchronization an afterthought.

Scanicorn’s mobile workflow supports offline capture and later synchronization. Capturing a record on a device and seeing it in the server-backed admin are different checkpoints.

Prepare while you have a connection

Sign in and confirm the selected event before the event floor gets busy. Make sure the forms and configuration needed by the team are available on the device.

Rehearse the workflow under the conditions you expect to encounter. An offline capture capability does not mean every remote operation, such as enrichment or CRM delivery, can happen without a connection.

Keep capture and sync separate

Capture the contact and its context during the conversation. When connectivity returns, let the synchronization workflow complete and inspect its status.

A record stored locally should not be described as delivered to a CRM until the relevant downstream processing has completed. Keep that distinction clear for the team responsible for the handover.

Check before changing accounts

The mobile application manages pending local data as part of its account workflow. Be deliberate when signing out, switching users, or deactivating an account. Read any pending-data confirmation instead of dismissing it automatically.

For the device acceptance checks documented in the repositories, the team verifies capture, synchronization, and later inspection in the admin. That sequence is a useful model for your own rehearsal.

Review the outcome

After the connection returns, inspect a sample of the captured leads in the admin. Check contact details, form responses, photos where used, and activities. If something has not arrived, investigate its synchronization status before relying on it for follow-up.

Assign one person to review the handover after an event. This keeps the booth team focused on capturing conversations while giving the receiving team a clear checkpoint for data availability.

The goal is not to pretend connectivity never matters. It is to keep the capture workflow useful and make synchronization progress understandable when the network becomes available again.
